ABSTRACT
This research work is aimed a finding out the impact of information communication technology in the dissemination of information in special libraries; a case study national mathematical centre, Abuja.
Findings are based on the data collected through the questionnaire observation. The findings revealed the numerous information communication technologies in use and how they are used. Findings also showed that these information communication technologies hve enhanced information dissemination in special libraries. Many people are now information conscious nd patronize there special libraries on regular basis.
Factors militating against the effective use of the information and communication technologies such as poor funding, power failure, insufficient number of professional staff, poor housing conditions of the gadgets were also found out.
Recommendation on the ways of improving some of the problems militating against enhanced use of these array of ICT were made. These include adequate staff training, expansion of mathematical. Science library, rendered and adequate funding.
