ABSTRACT
This project is on employee participation in decision making: impact on organizational performance” using Unilever Nigeria Plc as a case study. An attempt was made to evaluate the impact of employee’s participation in decision making on organizational performance. This research also focused on several concepts like employee participation, enterprise relationship and relationship participation, leadership styles and performance management application which gave credence to employee involvement and participation in making decisions in an organization. This research also determined that no leadership style is the best, since situations differ, which implies that a situation that favours a particular leadership style may not favour another leadership style. Chapter one and two was based on the objectives of the study and also finding solution to the problem facing decision making in an organization and its impact on organizational performance. Chapter three and four discussed about the research design and methodology and the presentation and analysis of data, testing of hypothesis and interpretation of data.
