PROPOSAL
An Appraisal of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) micro- credit funding of small and medium enterprises in Enugu State is an attempt to unveil the long term problems which the small and medium scale enterprises in this state encountered in terms of funding and the intervention of UNDP micro- credit funding of such unit.
In chapter one of this work, the authors dealt with the background of the study which is on attempt to appraised the United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) micro-credit option geared towards efficient and effective funding of small and medium enterprises under the world’s poverty reduction programmes.
It further stated the problems under the sub-heading statement of the problem, objectives of the study as well as the significance of the study.
The authors discussed literature to the subject matter in order to know the modus operandi of the UNDP micro-credit funding of small businesses. The obvious areas of the distinction between past failed attempts and the anticipated success story of the micro-credit option were elaborately highlighted.
In chapter three, the research design and methodology which focused on the sources of data, location of data and method of data collection were carefully explained. The authors were concerned with secondary data only.
Lastly, the summary of the findings, recommendations and conclusion were presented.
